For the first time in history, Rogers Mounties boys soccer team won the 2017 Arkansas State Championship. In the Semifinals they defeated Heritage High School which brought them to the finals up against Har-Ber High School. The state finals was located at the University of Arkansas soccer stadium May 20, 2017. By half time, Rogers was behind 1-3. But, Rogers boys ended up beating Har-Ber 5-3 earning the title of state champs.
