Dead animals and sketchy parents are the backgrounds of 17-year old James and Alyssa. These two teens think less than great of their lives and decided to run away together. On this journey to find Alyssa’s dad they encounter many problems and discover unsettling baggage about themselves.

The chemistry between these unusual characters is remarkable. They seem to complete each other at some points. At other times  they act like complete strangers, awkward and nervous. They both seem to deal with each others issues well and are accepting. James though, is hiding a big secret that he fights within his mind the whole trip. He must choose between  making the final kill or letting his human emotions take over and fall in love like a normal teen.

This dark comedy explores teenage angst and makes you question your own life. It makes you think about what really makes people feel alive and why would they do such things to feel so alive. Would you take someone else’s breath just to hear yours for a minute? Would you stick your hand in a deep fryer because you felt so numb inside you just wanted to make sure your weren’t on the outside?

Watching The End of the World will not be a waste of your time. Immerse yourself into someone else’s life for a few episode. Try to figure out the characters problems to escape from yours for a moment.
